Do you believe the true secret to feeling truly beautiful lies in developing confidence and happiness from within?
The Secrets to Beauty Few Would Believe!
I used to believe that beauty was all about appearance—what we wear, how we style our hair, and the makeup we put on. Growing up, I lost count of how many times people told me to gain more weight, change my hairstyle, or wear certain clothes to look beautiful. Some even suggested plastic surgery to achieve the features society deemed 'perfect' and 'beautiful'. Countless times, I pressured myself to eat lots of carbs to gain weight, buy trendy clothes others thought were pretty, and spend hours on my hair and makeup before leaving the house. But despite all that effort, I never felt truly confident in my appearance.
It wasn’t until much later that I discovered the true secret to feeling ultimately beautiful lies in developing confidence and happiness from within.
My journey began when I started taking care of my body in a healthy way. I exercised, ate well, drank plenty of water, and took good care of my skin. These habits made me feel great about myself and my body! This realization made me understand that I needed to stop listening to others' ideas of beauty and focus on what felt right for me.
I opted for the simplest hairstyle, wore minimal makeup, and only bought clothes that actually looked good on my body and were long-lasting additions to my wardrobe. Freed from the thoughts of how others would see me, I focused more on what was truly good for my petite frame. This allowed me to genuinely enjoy everything, from getting ready to being at social events. I no longer worried about whether I made the right clothing choices or what others thought of me. And guess what? I started receiving compliments on how beautiful and happy I looked—compliments I had never received before.
This, I believe, is the art of effortless styling. When you effortlessly put together a look and spend less time trying to look good, it helps your mental state focus on yourself and your confidence. Once you have your mind and body taken care of, everything else will fall into its place, including your natural beauty.
Take one of our petite models here as an example. She may not have all the features society deems 'perfect' and is definitely not as tall as the fashion industry considers standard, but she is incredibly charismatic and beautiful in her own way. Her beauty through confidence surpasses that of any model I've ever encountered. This is truly a sustainable way of being beautiful!
